About RecQuiem
RecQuiem is an online multiplayer game inspired by Rec Room. It's considered a remake of the original Rec Room, built with unique features and new content.
RecQuiem is still in active development, so we do not have an approximate release date. However, we will try to release a playable build somewhere in 2027, but the stable release may take longer, at most end of 2027.
Gameplay
Yes, but it will be a different system, as the game is completely new and built from scratch.
Unlikely. The game will mostly feature the classic bean body, but maybe it can make a return in the future.
Accounts & Purchases
Of course! The game will be free to play, although you can buy in-game purchases, just like Rec Room, to help support our servers and development!
At the moment we have no plans to create an importation feature, and it may be difficult to implement due to Rec Room shutting down. But it's not entirely out of the question.
